Homemade Mac and Cheese Recipe  

Always a favorite amongst kids and adults alike. I like to add a bit of garlic powder to mine for a little something different.

  • 1 16 oz. box elbow macaroni
  • 2 8 oz. bags shredded cheese ( IÂ prefer colby and mozzarella)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk

Boil noodles until soft and drain. Place noodles back into pan and add butter and milk; mix well. Pour both packages of shredded cheese into pan and mix together well. Add salt and pepper. Put garlic in, 1 tablespoon at a time tasting after each addition so as to not over whelm with garlic.

serves 4-6
